Need

The automatic cleaning up of large refinery tanks is a process that needs equipment with advanced technological development. In the case of Tankiac, this need arises from being a high-risk job carried out in zones classified as ATEX Zone 1, with very high process flows, product temperature, pressure, etc.

Solution

ECOMAT has developed a new unit seeking improvements in both safety and the commissioning of equipment, being critical since this is mobile machinery. The main developments with respect to previous models is a new filtering and watertight containment system for all equipment to protect it from possible spills when operating and the incorporation of a new system of variable speed drives that makes it easier to adjust the process.
